Having made a ‘traditionally’-shaped creepie and an unusually-shaped creepie, I wanted my third creepie to be different again. I think you can describe it as contemporary – angular, with contrasting timbers, and lacking the traditional leg cut-outs. My own oak was coupled with some walnut for the wings to give a contrast of colour. The legs were splayed outwards with matching angles at the end of the tops, and complementary angles in the sides. Angular, yet with the main long edges heavily rounded and again with the central rounded finger-hole.
This one was gifted to my sister-in-law for her 50th birthday.

Nb: The National Museum of Scotland website has a nice wee article about creepies if you would like to know more about this furniture type.
