Creepies,  Other

In the Gallery

I’m somewhat amazed (and delighted) to tell you that my creepies are now available from The Perthshire Gallery in Pitlochry. “Amazed” because I haven’t previously considered myself to be an artist – but I suppose I must be if some of my work is displayed in a gallery and the gallery are also nice enough to list me as an artist on their website. They have six of my creepies for sale this winter – including this most recently completed one (#18) in Scottish olive ash and elm – so it will be really interesting to see how they fare with the Christmas season approaching. Pop along to see the creepies in the flesh – as well as lots of stunning works by many other artists and makers in a wide range of styles and materials.

Back to this most recently completed creepie: it features ash legs with traditional key-hole shaped cut-outs and as a new variation I have added an enclosed circular cut-out in the elm side-skirts. The size of this creepie is identical to my earlier Wedding Creepie (height 280 mm, width 230 mm, length 450 mm) and in the photos here it is sitting on top of my Bench Creepie (height 420 mm, width, 340 mm, length 910 mm). I hope you like it. My next post will not be a creepie and is likely to be a Corncrake dining table and something related…
