It’s always nice when a customer contacts you out of the blue and says that they really like what they see on your website and asks “May I have one of these, please?” And that’s what happened in late January when a customer requested an “Eider” footstool. Upon visiting the customer I was able to advise them that the furniture was bespoke and multiple options were available to them – size, timber, finish and upholstery could all be changed. I was able to convince them to take the combination of walnut and olive ash (my favourite) and they chose to have the stool delivered only partially upholstered – so that they could take their time to choose their own fabric.
So, here is my second “Eider” footstool (without its fabric). My customer loves the contrast with the walnut and loves the grain of the olive ash. Hopefully they will send me a few photos of the stool once fully upholstered and before they move to Sussex.
